Lowes Build a Project

The Lowe's "Build a Project" this week was a Turkey Recipe Holder. The kids had a lot of fun. If you are not familiar with the "Build a Project". Lowe's has a program for the kids. They give the kids aprons and goggles and when they are done with their projects they get a patch and completion certificate. It is all Free and Lowe's does it once or twice a month. It is a lot of fun for the kids. They get to keep the aprons and goggles and bring them back each time they come to work on a project. The kids feel so grown up and enjoy making the little projects no matter what they are.

Laura has gotten really good at hammering those little nails in.

Julia is putting the pieces together

and Isaac is sanding the rough spots

Kaley came too but she didn't get to do a project this time. She just sat around and watched everybody else.
