When Laura gets quiet....

If you haven't spent much time with Laura let me just tell you she is a talker. Her mouth does not stop. She loves to listen to stuff so if the television or radio is not on she creates her own talking. She recites stories, poem, songs and some times she just will talk babble for twenty minutes or longer just to hear herself talk. She sings in the bath on the potty. She LOVES to talk. SOOOOOOOO when the house got quiet Dan and I looked at each other and decided that we better go investigate... When we got to her room we saw a pile of purple hairs laying on the floor and didn't see Laura anywhere but, we could hear her breathing so we knew she was under the bed hiding from us. So, I said "Laura are you hiding from mommy?" and I heard giggles. Laura laughs just like "Webster" the little boy on the television show....you might have to be older to know who he was... Anyways, the giggles turned into uncontrollable laughter as she knew she was busted as I asked her "did you cut your ponies hair" and I peeked under the bed.....

Then I realized she had her hand on the front of her head with that guilty, giggly laughter.... and I asked "did you cut your hair?" and she was laughing so hard she couldn't talk. So, I said "come on out and show mommy your new hair cut" and sure enough...she cut all her bangs off... She finally stopped laughing enough to get the words out "It fuzzy just like daddy's".... I really wanted to punish her but, I grabbed my camera instead. She was laughing so hard I couldn't help laughing with her.....

So, I told her to go and get dressed and I would run her into town and see if they could at least even it up a little bit....so here we are! Waiting an hour and a half for a cut!! We had some chocolate and then not only was she giggly but, she was jumping up and down and couldn't stop. But, she managed to stay still long enough for this picture.

After talking to the stylist we decided that a "Trump comb-over" would be the best thing for now... so here it is.. Miss Laura's new hair cut!

She loves her new fuzzy hair!!! This is not the first time she has cut her own hair... she LOVES hair. She combs my hair and styles it many times each day... anybody that comes over has to endure the rath of the Laura Salon as well.... I think when she is older she will be working in New York on Broadway doing the hair and makeup for all the actors.... It is her passion...!
