Saturday we signed up the kids for the annual fishing contest in Cherokee! They were excited. It was their fist contest. When we got there they gave each of the kids their very own fishing pole and tee shirt. After being there 5 minutes Laura caught her fist fish ever. She was so excited until we brought it out of the water. She was scared of it flopping everywhere. All of the kids tried really hard but, that was the only fish we caught. It was a fun experience. Now that children all have fishing poles we will be going fishing again really soon.
