Better News!

Dan got another call from the principal at Franklin High School today... Everything sounded positive. They interviewed a few more people for the job and decided that they would like to give Dan a shot at the position. The principal is making a recommendation to the board that he be hired. So, whenever they meet and discuss it we should hear back from them. Keep praying that all goes well and that he will receive official notice soon.

I am all set to go back to school this fall and am just waiting to see if I need to go and find a job or if I can really go to school... It is tough when life is uncertain... All of our plans are tentative. So many things go through our head. Will we find a job? Do we need to move? Should we sell our house? Would our house even sell right now with the economy? So many things that we just have to hand over to God and just let him take care of them. It is hard giving up that control. It feels good to be in control of our life and then when something unexpected comes up like the loss of a job in a small town... Giving it all up to God and just waiting to see what he does is tougher than it should be. We kind of want to give part of it over to him and then do the rest our self and we forget that he is really in control of our life. I don't like uncertainty. I want an outline of my life with dates and times filled in so I know what is going to happen and when. Do you ever feel that way. No surprises God just do it my way!

Join the crowd, Aimee. We all feel out of control when we give it all to God. Still I try to save back some control but the more I give to God the stronger my faith becomes. I am praying for you and Dan and kids. God bless,
Linda
