It's been awhile....

Wow!! Where to start...it has been a couple of weeks.....hhhhmmmm! We'll my first day of school was LONG and a little overwhelming since it has been so long since I have been in school...After sitting in classes for 8 hours on Monday I had to go home and do another 6 hours of homework before class on Wednesday. I hated it!!! Between the homework, laundry, cleaning, packing 6 lunches, dinner, cleaning the cabins and trying to fit in time to actually spend with the family I was overwhelmed, sleep deprived and wanted to give up on the whole school thing altogether. But, you know... I am a girl and I just bought a new pair of shoes and needed some place to wear them to and I had some new gel pens that I was dying to use so I decided I had to figure something out. So, I withdrew from the University and signed up at the Community College. I was able to get better classes and three of them are online. So, I go to school a few days a week for a couple of hours for class and then I can work in and around my schedule for the rest of the classes. I am enrolled in the Web Technologies and Graphic Design programs. I signed up for two programs so I can take all the stuff I really want to learn. So, I go to school for my Design class which is a lot of fun. It is good to have a class for this so I can see other peoples artwork and we can talk and I can wear my new shoes and get some adult communication in. There are a few older people in class so it is not all freshmen so it is nice. I am really enjoying it! I am taking a three computer classes. They are a HTML/XHTML class, Networking Operating Systems and a Introduction to computers class. Those I get to do online. Which is nice because you don't have to study for test. Everything is open book, notes and whatever else you want to use. Anyways, I will make it back to the University some day probably two years from now. I should have a nice portfolio by then. So, I have been very busy the last two weeks. Mom and Dad are driving up to visit this weekend and will be here all week so it will be a nice to see them. I am trying to get all my homework done today so we can play all weekend. We have done a lot of stuff with the kids the last couple of weeks too so I will try to upload some pictures or a slide show of everything really soon.
